Garden Design Tips.
It is great fun to plan out your own designer garden. You can design the perfect garden to meet your needs! People will take great effort to personlise and create a unique look to their home, but often the garden is left to follow a standard design plan.
The following brief guides will hopefully provide you with some useful starting points for designing your own garden.
Combination Gardens - Planting
There is no reason why a garden design cannot incorporate both vegetable planting and flower planting. You need to consider any root crops that will need to be dug up, in the respect of placement. You don't want to plant them next to anything that requires an undisturbed growing environment for example.
A trellis can be used to grow a fruiting plant, and also be combined with a climbing flowering plant, to great effect. Choose your plants carefully and the end result will be well worth the effort.
Borders can be planted with herbs, and flowers, both having a fragrance value.
