Garden Design Tips.
It is great fun to plan out your own designer garden. You can design the perfect garden to meet your needs! People will take great effort to personlise and create a unique look to their home, but often the garden is left to follow a standard design plan.
The following brief guides will hopefully provide you with some useful starting points for designing your own garden.
Stone Garden:
You do not have to plant anything if that is something you can be happy with. A stone garden is based along this concept. Decorative stones can be very attractive.
Use of stone and wood can also be used to build a very functional space; you could have a raised pond, seating, a BBQ area, and other features. This type of design is best suited to a space that is going to be used as an outside room.
Normally some planting is included to soften the look.
Maybe a small tree as a central focal point, or tubs of flowers and shrubs placed around the area to give a more natural and relaxed feel.
The choice is all under your control.
A garden of this type will look very formal and modern if using brand new building materials, although it will weather in time. A more establish feel can be achieved by using natural stone from the local area; this will help to make the space look like a part of the landscape of your house and garden.
