Garden Design Tips.
It is great fun to plan out your own designer garden. You can design the perfect garden to meet your needs! People will take great effort to personlise and create a unique look to their home, but often the garden is left to follow a standard design plan.
The following brief guides will hopefully provide you with some useful starting points for designing your own garden.
Woodland Gardens:
Normally associated with a traditional garden that already has fairly extensive tree growth. The planting scheme will need to change over time, as the amount of shade that the garden will receive will be related to the tree canopy and the path of the sun.
Use shade and partial sun loving plants, dispersed randomly in groupings, to create a natural feel to the layout.
Woodland gardens are an excellent place for creating a habitat sympathetic to nature. It is good to let things grow naturally and leave some plants to die back without clearing them away. Decaying plant matter is beneficial to a whole range of insects and animals.
