The Horse Chestnut tree is commonly found across the UK in parks and gardens. The timber from the tree is generally of poor quality and used for packing cases etc rather than longer term uses. For the home gardener its a beautiful specimen though, flowering in abundence in the spring and dropping conkers in the autumn.
